Cherish

with

relish.

Catmint exudes

a ravenous desire

to feline tastebuds

this craving is higher

until licking her lips

when needs must retire

in a catnap succumbing

to cozy fire.

Nocturnal song

flirts through trees

enticing from slumber

and restful relief

owls float with fervour

upon silent breeze.

Shallow tide

hollow sand

displace the balance

of Winter’s stand.
